Telegraph Media Group has restructured its classified department to reflect changes in the market.

Now called the specialist sales team, it will be responsible for advertising on and offline within travel, jobs, education, property, entertainments, motoring, gardening, fine arts, and lifestyle.

James Lancaster, the director of specialist sales at TMG, said: “This restructure puts TMG in the position to respond to the rapid pace of change we are seeing in this market. It enables us to offer the best bespoke solutions and breadth of reach across all our platforms including events, press, digital and mobile.”

The new structure has been introduced without the need for redundancies and TMG will be recruiting for a couple of senior roles. Further announcements on this will be made as soon as is possible.
