The research also found that the average student spends 106 minutes a day on Facebook, with students’ GPAs dropping .12 points for every 93 minutes above the average time spent on Facebook a day.
However, the infographic states that although there is a relationship between extensive Facebook use and a drop in the GPA held, it does not mean that either one causes the other.
