An app has been released that allows drivers to avoid receiving a parking ticket or having their car clamped or towed.

The ‘Mind My Motor’ app, developed by New Media Farm, allows users to alert other drivers parked nearby when they see a traffic warden approaching.

The user punches in their license plate number, alerting other users who are parked within 50m to remove their vehicle.

“We are not trying to circumvent the system,” commented Ziggy Mans, CEO of New Media Farm. “Signs can be a bit ambiguous and it’s not easy to work out what the parking restrictions are from one town to the next so we are simply trying to help traffic wardens to their jobs more effectively, and help motorists to look out for each other.”

The app is now on release across all mobile platforms.

Maybe next you could develop a proofreading app, where readers alert authors to stories that make no sense.
