Future has today announced the appointment of Jane Crowther as editor of Total Film magazine.

Crowther has held the role of acting editor since July last year after joining the team at Total Film as associate editor in 2010.

Clair Porteous, group publisher for Future’s Film portfolio, said: “Jane is a film thoroughbred. She has an excellent mix of gutsy editorial nous, second-to-none film contacts and a day-to-day working knowledge of the movie industry. This makes her the perfect person to head up Total Film as we launch into a year of exciting development across the brand.”
