Yoda features in Vodafone campaign to promote RED box transfer service
Vodafone will today release a new advertising campaign featuring Star Wars character Yoda to promote its RED box service.
The new service will automatically transfer contacts and content from one users handset to another when they upgrade.
The advert, the first created by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalf/Y&R, features Yoda attempting to use his Jedi powers to transfer numbers from a smartphone to a new phone and retains the strapline ‘Power to You’.
Lucasfilm produced the advert with visual effects provided by Industrial Light & Magic.
