Changing Brands hired for Perran Foundry campaign

A taster of the creative work to comeA taster of the creative work to come

Changing Brands has been appointed to design and lead the brand, marketing and social media campaign for the Perran Foundry - a Cornish tin mining site that is being converted into apartments, office space and retail units.

The Perran Iron Foundry, established in 1791, was the second largest in Cornwall and is considered to be one of the most important industrial sites of the period in southern Britain.

Its redevelopment is due to be completed by summer 2013.

While that work goes on, Changing Brands is developing a campaign to "celebrate the ingenuity, innovation and community-centric work ethic" that the foundry embodied in its heyday.

Its work will encourage people to buy into a piece of Cornwall's history.

Creative director John Lowdon said: “The brand language is a sensitive and honest abstraction of the craftsmanship and innovation of what Perran was once famous for at the same time as providing a contemporary and engaging visual platform for communicating the live/work lifestyle benefits."

Changing Brands' work will span brand creation and implementation, marketing collateral, signage and interpretation, web design and social media.
