Frankie Boyle’s controversial comedy series Tramadol Nights has not been renewed for a second series, Channel 4 has decided.

The series was investigated by Ofcom following over 500 complaints being received by Channel 4, over jokes ridiculing the disabled son of Katie Price.

A spokesperson for Channel 4 confirmed to Scotland on Sunday that no further episodes of the series would be commissioned and that a pilot for another series by Boyle would also not be transmitted.

Boyle told The Daily Record: “I was happy with it but you can see why they didn’t want to recommission something that was getting them front-page hatred.”

Im gutted. It was great to see a show that pushed boundaries. if you dont like it then dotn watch it is my opinion.

Its not on the BBC so you havent paid for it ect else i agree with the complaints but its not. Advertisers have paid.

Surely some moderation of his content would be better than a full out non comission.
