Manchester agency Mason Williams has won a four way pitch to launch Gillray’s, the new steakhouse and bar opening at the London Marriott Hotel County Hall in March.

The new restaurant aims to be "the most English of English dining destinations" and will feature the best of English beef and seasonal produce as well as over thirty gins and new cocktails created taking an influence from the satirical works of James Gillray.

Commenting on the new account, managing director Rita Rowe said: This was a very competitive pitch against some of the best consumer agencies in the country so the win is especially sweet. Gillray’s Steakhouse and Bar will be a famous destination restaurant that will be a must for anyone visiting the capital and we are both excited and delighted that a northern agency will be putting a stamp on the personality and the promotion of this wonderful new dining experience.”
