Staffordshire Country Council is to tender for a public relations agency to work with tourism body Destination Staffordshire.

The council is heading up the procurement process to appoint an agency which will work with Destination Staffordshire, which promotes and co-ordinates the visitor economy for the County.

One agency will be appointed to the contract, worth between £150,000 to £300,000, which will run for an initial three year period, beginning on 1 July 2012. The option of a 12 month extension may also be taken up following the expiry of the contract.

Five agencies will be chosen to be involved in the next stage of the tender.

Requests for accessing documents must be made by 5 March.
