Manchester digital agency Livelink has created an online image library for fine arts materials manufacturer Daler Rowney.

The company had struggled with the management of images, including photogrpahs of products and artwork, and was looking for a solution that would centralise all images and be simple to manage and access.

Livelink built a search facility allowing users to search by product name, SKU and key words as well as image title.

The new facility enables customers to source high-resolution catalogue and point of sale images and has been put on a separate server to prevent band width from being an issue.

Karen Hanson, Daler Rowney's digital communications manager, said: "We needed something that our customers would find simple and quick to use, to provide them with an added service and to reduce the amount of calls covering requests for images.

"We needed a facility that would allow for the range and the size of some of the images requested and that would provide a better method of filing and compilation."
