South Birmingham College tasks Traffic with rebrandSouth Birmingham College tasks Traffic with rebrand

A rebrand of South Birmingham College is set to go ahead, with Traffic having been appointed to implement the project.

The Birmingham marketing agency has been appointed to handle the rebrand, having won a five-way-pitch, and will now undertake brand research amongst staff, students and prospective students from local schools.

In the end, a visual identity will be created to roll out across all campuses.

Mark Knight, head of marketing for South Birmingham College said: “The project will help us to understand current perceptions and levels of engagement with the brand, both internally and externally. The research will lay the foundations for a new brand that will align itself with the needs and aspirations of all our stakeholders.”

Phil Elwell, director for Traffic, said: “We’re really excited about the pitch win and look forward to creating a new and rewarding brand experience for South Birmingham College. With many FE colleges pursuing a very similar, vocationally-focused audience, brand differentiation is more important than ever before.”
