Trousers suggesting that their owners should ‘give it to your women’ to wash lands brand in hot water on Twitter

Trousers from discount brand Madhouse whose label said, under the washing instructions ‘or give it to your women, it’s her job’ has led to outrage by some on Twitter, with people claiming the chinos are sexist.

Twitter comments include ‘How dare #Madhouse this is 2012 not 1950’s!’ by @mslulurose.

However, some people think those complaining just don’t see the joke, with @Reevsy23 tweeting ‘I literally cant see why your soo upset by a bit of humor in some trousers. Do Yorkie bars upset you as well?’ to Telegraph journalist Emma Barnett.

This is not the first sexist story of the month – it has been discovered that visitors to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last week were offered ‘champagne, caviar and a beautiful girl’.

Russian telecoms operator CBOSS hired girls who danced on the hour and handed out leaflets of themselves wearing skimpy outfits.
