Take a look at the new Twitter layout, being rolled out to users from today.
Bearing a striking similarity to a Facebook page, a header picture on the desktop version of Twitter tops the page before a smaller picture appears in the bottom left hand corner.
As reported over the weekend, Twitter is also rolling out the use of pinned tweets for users, allowing an important message to stay at the top of a user’s stream.
“The new web profile lets you use a larger profile photo, customize your header, show off your best tweets and more,” Twitter designer David Bellona said.
The tweets that have received more engagement will appear slightly larger on the stream, while users can now filter what they want to see while viewing someone else’s profile: tweets, tweets with photos/videos, or tweets and replies.
New users to Twitter will begin with the new layout.
