There's just no hiding!
Hope you're well Kate
@ace_tsmedia I literally puked onto the page that morning - not brilliant but hopefully makes the point?
Gordon, I don't want to go into a diatribe on here but I disagree with quite a lot of what you're saying here - I guess a lot of it comes down to resources.
If you are a big company with ample resources feel free to jump all over Google+ if you are a small business don't bother! Why?
Because as you say there is no tracking - everything we do for any business has to be quantifiable.
Because brand / company pages are not yet showing up on Google search... (how do I know - personal experience!).
Don't get me wrong maybe it will come into its own - but until these 2 major points are dealt with I'll not be recommending it to anyone.
Oh another thing - Google don't do vanity URL's so if there are people intent on fraudulently creating businesses with the same name don't worry it's all about confirming the location (place) which if you don't know them... which page do you go to??
A really interesting case Stephen with a great recommendation - all to often we're seeing businesses be slow to enforce any type of employee policy - Hopefully this will encourage it!
Facebook - Timeline: My site has been like that since September 2011, I haven't had any complaints :) Maybe I should just colour it blue and white... http://socialtailor.com
