@velve17099 I'm afraid I must respond and inform you that this is an 'opinion' section of the website. If you wish to read articles that aren't "vague meandering opinion's about which no-one cares" I suggest you read The Sun or the Daily Mail.
I'm assuming it's because they want Friend Connect users who swear by it (i.e. your girlfriend) to move over to Google+. I doubt they'll cut Friend Connect for Blogger though.
Yesterday an unofficial Google+ plug-in for WordPress went up

I wonder if a similar thing is on offer for Blogger?
Everything will be based around generating +1's on pages.
Of course the same way you would 'like' a link anywhere else gets shared with your connections, that will generate traffic in a similar way to Facebook. Eventually keyword searches on Google will display results that are most favoured by your peers as well as the best search engine optimised sites.
I'm unsure about one-click-subscribing being implemented but I think it makes a lot of sense.
Now well over 2 million views.
It's likely mental/psychological help would be more suitable than a custodial sentence.
