I'm pretty disgusted with greyhound racing, take a look on youtube at the disgraceful way they abuse the dogs during and after their racing life.
Until the greyhound racing board do something to manage this issue I can't see why anyone would go and watch this 'sport'?
And they are the loveliest natured dogs you will get.
Oh and the advert and offer......great, just great.
Well done Nathan - you owe me lunch too!
Couldn't agree more with Chris's perspective on the current economic climate. Great that The Drum has found someone to contribute some useful commentary rather than spreading negativity about big agencies losing accounts and redundancies following (potentially...) - what amazing insights The Drum journalists have!! If all they can do is spin negativity then I am not sure it is contributing a great deal. It will be interesting to see who is wearing what when the tide is out!
Is this the same 'Amaze' that went into administration in November last year but was miraculously bought within 24 hours, conveniently avoiding paying its debts to suppliers?
I am somewhat suprised Paul Sanders (FD) managed to keep his job (or professional title) after presiding over a £2m loss that couldn't be covered and that apparently 'didn't even have enough money to pay the administrators' (Quote Liverpool Daily Post).
......or am I just a naive business person who doesn't understand how to fleece genuine suppliers and business partners and then come out smelling of Roses.
Great news - 2 of the best graduates from The Book Student Awards 2011 get their rightful places in the Leeds advertising elite!
Well done.
