There is sense hidden amongst this monologue. Although the bit about Chief Excitement Officer has David Brent written all over it. Brands will still look for a main reason, a focal point of what they are trying to say or explain, despite the small ideas suggestion. Perhaps a better way to explain the new age of marketing is simplicity. Don't butter it up with nuances, keep it simple. Small ideas - simple. Big idea - simple. Let people figure out their own involement from the initial hook. If Gilles Peterson recommends a musician/artist, I'm interested because I trust his judgement. If McDonald's tell me a big mac's not that bad, I don't care
I'm surprised no-one has asked them what they are now going to do with the farm, seeing as they appear to be keeping hold of it. Where is it? Will they have to halt the potential sale of the property to a new owner? Will a farmer be employed to run the farm now NCG are keeping it?
Or did the farm ever exist? I'm not suggesting it doesn't but possibly not the best bit of pr around customer loyalty. As one commentator said, would you trust them again?
No-one is saying they were dishonest, but the campaign wasn't managed well and perhaps smaller prizes might be the route to go down. At least this way, someone can claim victory
Until Salmond clearly outlines his plans - what currency we would have, would we be part of the EU, would we have to pay towards the EU as all other member states do, how much, if the oil is owned by companies based in Aberdeen what's to stop the companies relocating to London and retaining the oil fields - just general questions which makes voting easier. Business leaders have every right to choose if they want to do business in Scotland or not; if the business strategy is to lower tax, it's probably worth outlining how that will be affordable and where the extra money to make the cuts would come from. I'm taking a Pontius Pilate view to this at present
Very sorry to hear this. A great agency with a great front team in Gary, Angus and co. I'm confident frame will bounce back from this though. Already looks like you are producing great work for ScotGov.
Best of luck taking things forward this year and 2010
I think the author's rep, not Alex Thomson's will 'take a battering' after such a poorly researched article. As others have commented, the problems rangers have faced off the field has been documented on the internet in excrutiating detail for a year now and the daily record still decries they have landed another 'exclusive'.
Overall, as the Sunday Post commented at the weekend, if rangers are allowed to form as a newco and stay in the SPL, what is to stop other clubs circumventing debt by copying this example?
